ChipsAway unveil their striking livery for the Bangers4Ben Rally to France!
With just five days to go until the ChipsAway team embark on their epic adventure across France for the Bangers4Ben rally, they are delighted to be able to unveil the ‘banger’, which they paid just £510 for - £240 under the required maximum budget of £750, as well as it’s striking new livery!
The ‘mobile fish and chips’ theme is a fun play on the ‘ChipsAway’ brand and one which they hope will make them stand out and be noticed ‘en route’. Complete with branded aprons, trilby hats and packets of ‘fish and chips’ to hand out along the way, the ChipsAway team members – Steve Perkins and Terrance Thant, are entering into the spirit of the event and can’t wait to get going.
Starting their 4-day adventure with an overnight ferry from Portsmouth, Steve and Terrance will spend their first day at Le Mans where they will have chance to try out some of the famous race circuit itself! The tour continues into Bordeaux along beautiful coastal roads and countryside, and along to Nantes.
Kind supporters of the ChipsAway entry and the Bangers4Ben cause include; Octoral – who very generously donated the paint for the full respray that’s been undertaken, ICB, The Van Hubb, Automotive Training Solutions and Grovenet, but they still have a way to go to reach their fundraising target of £1,000.
“We’re delighted to be able to get involved and raise money for this fantastic cause. Ben provides amazing support for automotive people and their family dependants, and we are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money to help them continue providing their outstanding service.”
