Marla Custom Blind Franchisees Enjoy the Benefits of Ongoing Free Training

Starting a new local business on your own can be hit and miss. There is so much to learn and so many different things to consider. Perhaps that's why more and more new businesses are taking the franchisee route. As well as buying into a proven concept with established products and systems, good franchisors provide free, ongoing, training for their franchisees.

At Marla Custom Blinds, we run regular update and training sessions for our established Franchisees to ensure that they keep on growing. These workshops typically cover a mix of topics including established product updates, new product training and interactive business development sessions.

What can you expect?

Over the past 12 months, we have run three very successful training days at our Fareham HQ. Each session is completely free and runs from 10 am to 3:30 pm, including lunch.

  • May 2019 - Our session covered Insect and Fly Screens in the morning and Conservatory Sails in the afternoon.
  • September 2019 - We covered Interior Shutters in the morning and Blind Matrix, our online product ordering system, in the afternoon.
  • March 2020 - We had a half-day, manufacturer-led session on Somfy motorised blind mechanisms and a half-day "What's Working" workshop where franchisees shared success stories with their peers.
"We believe passionately that ongoing franchisee support is a key part of success," says Martin Froud, The founder and MD of Marla Custom Blinds. "As well as providing outstanding pre-launch training for new franchisees, we have always been committed to giving all our franchisees regular product updates, training and support."

As well as tapping into Marla's team of in-house experts, they also utilise the expertise of trusted suppliers like Somfy Systems and Blind Matrix to deliver specialist training.

If you do decide to take on a Marla Custom Blinds Franchise, you too will have access to regular training days such as those outlined above. Doesn't it feel good to know that you've got that kind of support backing up your local activities?
