New Franchise opening for Papa John's within the Nottingham Franchise Territory
Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s has opened its latest store within the Wollaton, Nottingham franchise territory. Kam Bains and Husband Sukhy, first joined the Papa John’s fast food franchise network as franchisees nine years ago and Wollaton is their fifth franchise store within the region.
Kam confirms:
“Nottingham is clearly ‘hot’ for Papa John’s! Enquiries from residents in Wollaton, plus numerous customers coming for collection showed us now was the time to open a new store to satisfy demand. We run one Papa John’s in Grantham and the other four now have Nottingham covered.
“Although I’m from Leicester originally, Nottingham has been a fantastic location for us. It’s a town with a great vibe and many visiting students so there are always new faces, new people and stories. We love this.”
Before joining Papa John’s, Kam used to work in the family hosiery business. She explains:
“We were looking for something different and a friend recommended Papa John’s. With some hard work and determination, plus help from Papa John’s and our own staff, we’ve built up our stores over the years. Papa John’s incentive scheme for new stores opening-up has been particularly useful on this occasion, as it offers assistance with marketing, deals on equipment and reduced royalties at the outset.”
Kam puts the husband and wife duo’s success down to:
“A positive attitude and of course, top-quality pizza! We nurture a happy atmosphere in our stores. Many of our staff are young and energetic and this creates a positive energy! We try not to act like ‘the big bosses’ but roll up our sleeves and get stuck-in where we are needed. Working as a team, everyone is respected for their contribution and everyone is responsible too. We all have the same goal – to make the very best pizza in town and keep our customers coming back for more!”
The Wollaton franchise store is one of the first outlets in the UK to open with the refreshed Papa John’s look. Kam confirms:
“The updated, modern design and layout is appealing to our customers and adds to the fun. I really like the changes, and this is a positive move to create an even more welcoming space for customers collecting in-store.”
