Screen Rescue report record figures for Q1 2022
“We are delighted to report record results for Q1 of 2022, with outstanding company-owned and franchise territory results."
Founder franchisor, Jaime Hilario.

“The key highlights are revenues are up 45.3 pc on last year’s first quarter, which comes as no real surprise,” Jaime states. “This result was expected because in the first quarter of last year the country was in lockdown until mid-April, which affected most businesses. Like many other franchise systems, we pivoted our business and operated on a reactive, call-out basis only. Free from lockdown, all areas of this franchise opportunity have been trading proactively and all sectors of the commercial automotive world have been open and are now in full swing. One year on it’s great to see our collective revenues are flying high as expected.

“Q/Q this is testament that our well-trodden, well-established proactive franchise model generates substantial, sustainable, and robust repeat business at a consistently higher level and pace than when operating on a reactive call-out basis only.

“There were other factors too, we mustn’t ignore,” Jaime continues. “There has been a strategic drive in winning new commercial business as well as a focus on reviving any lapsed accounts. We adopted a clear business development strategy at a local level in the founder company owned territories and across the franchise territories. These face-to-face targeted operations have driven double-digit growth in revenue.

“And, finally, in March we released a new pricing plan across three of our key revenue streams ahead of new bsi reforms. This measure enabled us to secure exclusive rights to our continued use of the latest BS AU 242b: 2022 complaint-ready, innovative touchscreen digitally advanced windscreen repair systems in the UK, other manufacturers [and competitors] have failed to emulate.

“This strategy has not only future-proofed the franchise network but also maintains our leading position in the industry delivering our valued commercial clients unrivalled repair quality with the worlds leading-edge patent protected, repairs equipment.

“We are grateful to see the response from our clients in all commercial sectors has been positive at a time when delivering an unbeaten repair only service – rather than encouraging the rise of needless windscreen replacements across the country – has never been more important.

“We are proud to maintain our company policy of zero tolerance to replacement windscreens and continue to do all we can to help eliminate pointless replacements and prevent discarded windscreen glass entering landfill waste.

“In summary, our first quarter results are in line with company expectation, and we continue to expect a significant growth in both company and Screen Rescue franchise network performance over the remainder of the year.”
