Best children's activity provider for Active Sports Oxford 2022

Team Active have been celebrating the fantastic news that Sophi Butler has been recognised for her outstanding delivery in Oxfordshire by winning an award for best Children’s Activity Provider 2022 by Lux Life Magazines.

Sophi has been going from strength to strength throughout 2022 and Active Totz Oxford has become a leading provider.

Active Sports Group Franchise Development Officer Danielle Dwyer said ‘A massive well done to Sophi from Active Totz Oxford on her award. Sophi has worked really hard to build and develop her franchise and is extremely deserving of this award. The team and I are really looking forward to supporting Sophi in the next phase of her business.’

Team Active caught up with Sophi to find out what it meant and what’s next for her business.

What has it meant to you to win the award?

I feel very grateful to have won and be recognised for this award. The children’s activity industry is massive and there’s lots of local competition. But it is nice to be recognised as a winner and leading provider. I love my classes and it makes me happy to know that others do too.

What have you most enjoyed about running your business so far?

For me I have loved meeting and building relationships with lots of local families. As a Toddler mum myself, it has been nice to meet lots of likeminded people who are in a similar stage of parenthood as me.

I have been running Active Totz for just over a year now and it has been so lovely to see my regular Totz grow in confidence, progress in their classes, master skills and above all enjoy themselves and have fun.

What's next for active totz Oxford?

I would like to continue to grow Active Totz and share my classes with as many people as possible. Coming up in November and December (2022), I am launching my first weekend classes, and I hope that this will allow children, who normally attend a childcare setting in the week, to come along to Active Totz classes.
