Caremark expands Franchise Support Centre as network continues to grow
Caremark, one of the UK’s leading home care providers and franchise networks, has opened a new, larger Franchise Support Centre as the business continues to expand across the UK and Ireland.

The company moved into a new 6,000ft2 headquarters at Yeoman Gate, Worthing on Friday 25th September, providing additional space for its growing central team and the training, operational, marketing and business support it provides to more than 140 franchise offices.
The move follows a period of continued expansion for Caremark. During 2026, the business has created seven new key roles within its central team and entered Scotland for the first time, with three new Scottish franchises launching since May.
Today, the Caremark network employs more than 6,500 Care Assistants and supports over 8,000 customers across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
“Our franchise network has grown significantly, and it is vital that the infrastructure behind it grows at the same pace. Our role as franchisor is not simply to recruit new Franchise Owners. We need to give them the training, expertise, systems and ongoing support they need to establish strong businesses and deliver consistently high standards of care in their local communities. The new Franchise Support Centre gives our expanding team considerably more room to work collaboratively with our Franchise Owners, deliver training and continue developing the support we provide across the network. t is another important investment in Caremark’s long-term growth and gives us the capacity we need as we continue to strengthen the existing network and expand into new territories.”
David Glover, CEO of Caremark
Caremark’s franchise model has its roots in almost four decades of care sector experience.
Founder Kevin Lewis first entered the sector in 1987 when he opened a residential care home in Brighton. After expanding into home care in 1993, he went on to establish his first home care franchise business in 1995. Following the sale of that business in 2001, Kevin used his experience of both care delivery and franchising to launch Caremark in 2005.
Kevin sadly passed away in 2021, but the franchise network he established has continued to expand, with Caremark now operating across more than 140 territories and receiving the prestigious 5* Franchisee Satisfaction Award earlier this year.
David concluded:
“Sustainable franchising is about much more than increasing the number of dots on a map. Our priority is building a network of strong, profitable businesses with Franchise Owners who feel well supported and are able to make a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.
“Investing in our central team and our Franchise Support Centre is an important part of delivering that, and we’re excited for the next chapter in Caremark’s growth.”
