Caremark wins Community Builder of the Year at Elite Franchise Top 100 Awards
Caremark has been named Community Builder of the Year at the Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) Awards, recognising the home care franchise’s outstanding contribution to local communities across the UK.

The award was presented on Wednesday 12th March at a ceremony held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul’s, London, where Caremark triumphed over a strong field of well-known brands including Home Instead, Anytime Fitness, Puddle Ducks, Good Oaks Homecare, Revive, Right at Home, Snap-on Tools, Walfinch and Water Babies.
The award recognises exceptional contribution to local communities, and the judges pointed to four key initiatives that secured Caremark the win. The first was the 'Care for a Wish' campaign, launched as part of the brand's 20th anniversary celebrations, which saw 20 life-enhancing wishes granted to people receiving care, each worth up to £1,000.
Wishes have ranged from an Oasis tribute party for a terminally ill customer to garden makeovers for accessibility, theatre trips, zoo visits and steam train trips, many made possible with additional support from Caremark Care Assistants alongside the prize fund.
Judges also recognised the '20 Acts of Community Care' campaign, which saw many offices across the franchise network commit to carrying out 20 acts of kindness in their local community, from school partnerships and food bank drives to volunteering days and wellbeing events.
Caremark's charity fundraising also caught the judges' attention. Sixteen members of the Head Office team completed a 20km run in aid of Care for Veterans, a Worthing-based charity supporting ex-service personnel with complex physical and neurological conditions.
Cementing the win was the consistent community activity carried out by franchise owners across the network, including regular coffee mornings, memory cafés and local fundraisers, which demonstrated the sustained, everyday commitment that sets Caremark apart from the competition.
"Community has always been at the heart of what we do and this award is a true reflection of that. From granting life-enhancing wishes to our customers, to our team running 20km for Care for Veterans, to the countless acts of kindness carried out by our franchise owners and care assistants every week, this win belongs to every single person across the Caremark network. I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together, and it is incredibly gratifying to be recognised against such outstanding competition."
David Glover, Joint CEO of Caremark
This latest award comes hot on the heels of Caremark becoming one of the first franchise network of 2026 to be awarded the prestigious 5* Franchisee Satisfaction Award by WorkBuzz last month, following an 8% year-on-year increase in overall franchisee satisfaction. With an overall franchise satisfaction score of 76%, Caremark recorded one of its strongest performances to date. In recognition of this, WorkBuzz also announced Caremark as the recipient of its Continuous Improvement Award for 2026.
