Children's 'Stay and Play' option is just the ticket!

Bromsgrove mum Amy Morris is on track to open a new children’s ‘stay and play’ option centred around trains – and lots of them!

‘Train Time’ is centred around a giant train track (over 200 feet long), over 40 trains and endless carriages. Amy will be stationed at three local venues - Finstall Village Hall, Wychbold Village Hall and Bromsgrove Baptist Church.

26-year old Amy, has 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and is the first of what is hoped to be many franchisees for ‘Train Time UK’ – a Stourbridge based company which is proving to be extremely popular in the world of child’s play.

So, what was it that made Amy jump onboard?

“I have attended lots of baby/ toddler classes with my children and know just how important they are for parents/ grandparents and the children. I was amazed when I saw Train Time UK for the first time as I hadn’t seen anything like it and from that moment I was hooked and knew it was something I wanted to be involved with.”

The appeal of a trainset for children remains a mystery, but if one thing is certain, it is that trains are a fascination – for boys and girls, not forgetting their parents too. And, they have a purpose which can also enhance a child’s development in many ways.

‘Have fun with your little one and play trains until your heart is content’ is how the sessions are promoted – and this is evident as soon as you step into a Train Time venue. It is suitable for 'active babies and beyond' and each session lasts for 60 minutes.

Train Time is not just about playing, it’s about learning too – the little ones’ minds go into overdrive; it helps develop their motor skills, their problem solving abilities and it helps expand their vocabulary and communication skills, whilst also encouraging creativity and imagination.

The new train themed ‘Stay and Play’ enterprise is the idea of entrepreneur Jim Pycraft. Jim, the proud father of a 2-year old himself, was only too aware of the demands placed upon parents seeking unique ways to entertain their children so he created Train Time UK. Such has been its success that he is also now offering franchise opportunities because it affords great flexibility for working parents.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome Amy to the Train Time UK Family and we know she is going to make a fabulous conductor! Amy has a young family and we know how difficult it can be to find a balance between working and family time. Running a Train Time UK franchise really is the ultimate flexibility franchise opportunity for those who are passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and building a successful business in a fun and friendly environment.”
