The Gourmet Hog Roast Company is continuing its UK expansion with the launch of a new Berkshire franchise, headed up by former Army serviceman and logistics professional James.
The Gourmet Hog Roast Company is pleased to announce the latest addition to its growing national franchise network, with James joining the business to bring the company’s premium hog roast, BBQ and outdoor catering services to customers across Berkshire.
James brings a strong and varied professional background to his new venture. Before joining The Gourmet Hog Roast Company, he built a career in logistics, developing extensive experience in planning, organisation and delivering to tight deadlines – skills that translate perfectly into the fast-paced world of event catering.
Prior to his career in logistics, James served in the British Army, where teamwork, discipline, attention to detail and performing under pressure were all part of everyday life.
Now, he is bringing that experience to a completely different kind of operation – although one that still requires meticulous planning, a strong team and the ability to deliver when it matters.
The new Berkshire franchise will provide The Gourmet Hog Roast Company’s established range of catering services for weddings, corporate events, private parties and celebrations throughout the county.
Customers will be able to choose from traditional hog roasts alongside BBQ menus, freshly prepared sides, canapés and a range of catering packages designed for events of different sizes and styles.
“I was looking for an opportunity where I could build a business of my own while working with an established brand and proven system. My background in the Army and logistics has always involved organisation, teamwork and making sure everything comes together at the right time. Event catering has many of those same challenges, but with the added satisfaction of being part of some fantastic occasions.”
The Gourmet Hog Roast Company was founded in London and has grown to provide outdoor catering services across the UK. Its franchise model allows local operators to develop their own territories while having work booked in for them by Head Office.
The arrival of the Berkshire franchise represents another step in the company’s continued national growth and strengthens its ability to provide locally operated catering backed by a recognised national brand.
