Kev Popat explains why he chose Right at Home for his franchise

"Most of my childhood was spent with my grandparents as we were brought up in a joint family home. I always look back with such fond memories of growing up in this home. The very thought of my Gran receiving care from someone that had no interest in her is precisely the reason I'm here today.

"My wife Amy comes from a family of entrepreneurs. We both had great jobs, but after a few years in the corporate world I believed we had gained enough experience to start a successful venture of our own.

"After a family member suggested the care industry as a potential avenue, I started to undertake research through various websites and articles relating to this particular franchise sector. I remembered how upset my family were at the poor level of care my Grandad received when he had a stroke. Amy and I began to feel that this was something that we could perhaps do ourselves - provide a great service that we would be proud to offer our own direct family.
