Chez Marcel is a family owned business based in Bristol. 

Founder Greg Raccomandato grew up in a family that owned a hospitality business and a Creperie Bretonne back in France, and he decided to bring the concept to the UK in 2018.

Unlike many businesses in the hospitality industry, Chez Marcel survived lockdown because of how manageable and waste free the crepes business is. Greg also adapted the business to home deliveries through services including Deliveroo and Just Eats.

When lockdown ended and the customers were able to visit the restaurant Greg served customers from all over the UK, and the feedback was that visiting Chez Marcel made them feel they were actually in France, with many asking if he had plans to open in other UK locations. The success of the business and the interest from other areas of the UK has led to Chez Marcel now offering franchise opportunities across the country.

Chez Marcel Franchise Opportunity

As a franchisee you will operate your own Chez Marcel creperie in your exclusive area. Your restaurant will be located on the high street and ideally will have outdoor seating as well as indoors.

Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential as you will receive full comprehensive training in all aspects of the business, including assistance in finding the right location, which will enable you to get your business up and running as quickly as possible.

What Do You Get?

The Chez Marcel franchise fee is £15,000, however you will need an initial investment level of circa £45,000 to cover fit out costs, legal costs, initial stock etc. This initial investment figure is a guideline which may vary dependent on the size of location.

Funding is available through a third party subject to normal lending criteria.
