The opportunity

The UK’s ageing population and rising demand for home-based care have created one of the fastest-growing service markets in the country. Doves Care has developed a personal, quality-driven care model that combines compliance excellence with a deep community focus.

As a Doves Care franchisee, you’ll operate your own local branch under our trusted brand, delivering domiciliary and live-in care to older adults and individuals with complex needs. You’ll build and lead a professional team of caregivers while we guide you through every stage — from CQC registration and staff recruitment to marketing, operations, and growth planning.

What you’ll receive

• Full initial training covering operations, compliance, recruitment, and business development
• Step-by-step CQC registration support and policy pack
• A proven recruitment and retention system to attract high-quality carers
• Launch marketing kit (website microsite, PR templates, social-media tools)
• Dedicated business-development mentoring and ongoing field support

Investment and returns

• Initial franchise fee: £32,997 + VAT
• Total investment required: £75,000 – £95,000 (ex VAT) including working capital and launch costs
• Ongoing management fee: 6 % of turnover
• National marketing contribution: 1.5 % of turnover

Most franchisees reach break-even within 12–18 months and target turnover of £650,000–£750,000 by Year 3, generating operating profits in the region of 15–20 %. (Figures based on Doves Care pilot operations; individual results may vary.)
