About Little Music Stars

LMS was born out of the Creator Katie Verner’s time in Los Angeles, California, with a vision to create a one-of-a-kind children's music and movement curriculum. To bring this vision to life, she collaborated with Jeanne Friedman, along with two incredibly talented music producers and songwriters.

At Little Music Stars, we believe early musical experiences should be joyful, creative, and inspiring.

Our carefully designed curriculum introduces children to music through a combination of sound, movement, and play, creating a progressive learning experience where children build new skills while having fun.

For over 10 years, we’ve guided hundreds of children on their musical journey — and we’d love for you to join us. It’s a journey full of laughter, creativity, and unforgettable moments.

Training & Preparation

Our training programme combines practical delivery, systems training, and business preparation, ensuring you fully understand both the day-to-day operation and the wider business model before launch.

Training Content

Training covers all key areas of the business, including:

• Business management and administration
• Legal requirements, safeguarding, and policies
• Marketing, customer acquisition, and local promotion
• Planning and delivering Little Music Stars sessions
• Equipment setup, pack-down, care, and maintenance
• Event planning, preparation, and delivery
• Customer experience and brand standards
• Training Format & Location.

Initial franchise training is delivered over a three-day period.

This immersive format allows you to experience the Little Music Stars model in a real working environment and gain confidence through observation and hands-on learning.

During training, you will:

• Observe the live delivery of Little Music Stars sessions
• See how sessions are structured, paced, and managed
• Understand venue setup, equipment flow, and class logistics
• Learn how we engage children and communicate with parents
• Gain insight into managing energy, timing, and group dynamics

Systems & Bookings Platform

As part of your training, you will receive full training on our Pebble booking system, this includes:

• Managing class and event bookings
• Processing payments
• Handling customer communications
• Managing attendance and records
• Understanding reporting and admin functions

By the end of training, you will be confident using Pebble to manage the operational side of your business efficiently and professionally.

In Person Training

• Training is delivered through a mix of guided learning, observation, discussion, and practical insight
• You will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout and gain clarity on all aspects of the business
