We understand how hard it is to start a business, which is why we have created a comprehensive franchise package to help you build a successful nursery. This turnkey package includes not only all the equipment, but we will also project manage the entire process from start to finish and provide a bespoke Banana Moon platform that aids the everyday admin and increases communications with parents via the parent app. We’re constantly investing and evolving; we want you to succeed and will provide the best support possible to help you do so.
Once your nursery is open and ready to operate, our support doesn’t stop there. We pride ourselves on the support we provide, and we will hold your hand during the entire process and for the life of your franchise. So once your nursery is ready to open, you will be completely prepared and ready to start. While the nursery is operating, the QAOs will be constantly buzzing in and out of your setting, offering support to the staff and ensuring that the nursery is compliant to ensure things are operating smoothly and the nursery is ready for those Ofsted visits.
Our dedicated head office team is there to provide full business and operational training, access to our advertising and marketing agency to promote awareness of your nursery within your community, and access to property search experts.

Typical day of a franchisee:
A franchisee can decide how involved they wish to be. Some franchisees adopt a hands-on approach, going in and out of the nursery and getting stuck into all different things. Others take a more cautious approach. In every case, we will expect you to take responsibility for your business, even though you may not be working as the nursery manager.
The franchise's role is to uphold the standards with which Banana Moon Day Nurseries have become synonymous and to enjoy the benefits that this will bring. A franchisee will establish themselves in their local community and begin building a great reputation in order to reap the rewards of repeat business.
The franchisee will be ready to commit a long-term investment and while it will not always be easy, following the process will soon pay off.
You will require a minimum total investment of £300,000–£400,000, depending on the size and location of the nursery. We work closely with major high-street banks, the majority of which will advance you up to 75% of the funding required.
Therefore, we recommend having at least £100,000 in liquid capital reserves before applying for a franchise.
